This post may be off the mark from the overall theme of this website. However, this is the number one reason I have observed people failing and not getting their desired results due to the absence of any type of execution strategy for the tasks they need to do in their daily lives, and as members of the communities, they are a part of. We, the Muslims in Japan may be one such example.
I have heard people talking and preaching about a lot of positive changes they want to bring into their Islāmic lives in Japan. However, even after passing much time, they do not seem to make any progress in the direction they had originally thought they wanted to.
All of us pledge to ourselves that we will do all we can to spread Islam and yet very few people actually do something to spread the Deen. We pledge ourselves that we will give the necessary education and moral support to our family members to become better Muslims. But very few people actually take the trouble to help their family members get a proper understanding of what Islam is and how we need to spend our lives as good Muslims. There are quite a few people who want to establish a good Islamic school for our kids. Yet, there are very few who remember this pledge when it comes to a matter of actually taking some action.
In fact, many of us are good daydreamers. But when the tough gets going, we tend to forget about the pledges we had made with ourselves and with Allah. Do you think pretty much the same is happening with you in your daily life? Please let us know your opinion on this as we ourselves need to take some action to really work for our own goals.
