The 9/11 events created lot of hatred, suspicions and Islamophobia among the public in Japan. The international media launched a massive campaign to distort or vilify the mainstream Islam and the Muslims all over the world. Japanese media also followed the suit and painted the same picture of Muslims and Islam as generated by the international media about 1.6 billion-strong Muslims spread all over the world.
We, the Muslims, may have our own arguments about 9/11 or about similar incidents. We may also want to brush aside all the claims of the international media about the discriminatory campaign they run against Muslims now and then.
However, unfortunately, a segment of the population in Japan doesn’t see it as a biased propaganda; rather they take it as the true face of Islam As a matter of fact, many of the incidents and happenings here and there are currently happening due to the so-called Muslims.
It is our responsibility, as Muslims, to respond to that by challenge properly portraying ourselves as law-abiding people by words and actions.
i appreciate your attitude. However now it is our responsibility to preach the true islam among the japanese people. more impportantly how this could be performed is a matter of highest priority.
Islam is a religion of peace and no violence is approved here.
I would like to contribute my time and effort in this regard…
